Baldwins Hill - Equality Objectives 2026-30

The public sector equality duty (PSED) requires schools to prepare and publish equality objectives at least once every four years. The PSED was introduced by the Equality Act 2010 and applies to all schools, including maintained schools, academies, independent schools, maintained nursery schools, and maintained and non-maintained special schools.

Equality objectives are intrinsic to our School Development Plan. These objectives reflect the school’s ethos and values.

Equality Objective 1: Remove barriers to learning and ensure every child can access an ambitious, inclusive curriculum

Equality Objective 2: Reduce gaps in achievement and ensure every child has the opportunity to achieve their potential

Equality Objective 3: Improve attendance and remove barriers to sustained participation in education
