Home Learning Information

Information for parents and carers.

Below you will find ideas for activities your children can do at home.  They may need some help getting started on some activities but should be able to work independently on these as they usually would in school. It is not an expectation for children to complete all these activities. As well as these resources, please remember that all children also have their reading books to enjoy with you at home. We have also listed helpful website including Bug Club and Purple Mash. Logins for Purple Mash and Bug Club will have been brought home with your child’s FLC paperwork.

Each week we will be providing new activities based around a theme. They will cover a range of areas of learning. Please aim to do 10 minutes of phonics, 10 minutes of writing, 10 minutes of maths and 10 minutes of reading a day to support your child's learning. These 10 minute sessions could be spread out throughout the day so that it is manageable for both you and your child.

We will now be accessing tapestry as normal! We will be viewing, liking and making some comments on tapestry posts. We would love to see as many children's learning as possible. Please feel free to write about any activities they are finding challenging, as we may be able to provide helpful advice and support. If you are struggling to access your child's tapestry account please email the school office and we can look into this. (Updated 1.04.20)

Many thanks for your continued support,

Early Years Team
