Our School Council is made up of two children from each class from Year 1 upwards.
It is their job to meet on a regular basis and represent the views of the other children in the school, make suggestions for what they think should happen and feedback to their class mates.
They also make a difference to our school by having a voice in revising policies. For example, our Anti-bully policy where they looked at other school's policies and decided what would suit our children. Members of the School Council then reported their decisions to our Parents' Forum, the policy was revised accordingly and 'A Guide to Anti-bully for Parents and Carers' was written and distributed during National Anti-bullying week.
